Go Kart

Since I was young, I always wanted a go kart. I was fortunate to acquire a 1961-era go kart frame at an auction. It came with three wheels, a gas pedal, and that’s about it. I completely restored the frame, welded a mount to accommodate a modern engine, built a new throttle system, added a brake pedal, steering wheel, and fourth wheel. I installed a 212 cc new engine, connected it to the throttle, and designed/3D printed an ignition switch. With a top speed of 20 mph, it’s a blast to drive around.
